About the Author:
I’m a 27 year-old woman from New England. I am currently a full time graduate student. Formerly, I worked in the journalism field as a reporter/writer for both local and national newspaper chains and magazines.
You’re probably wondering about my health and weight loss credentials. Frankly, I have none. To quote Emily Dickinson, “I’m a nobody, who are you? Are you a nobody too?” (Sorry, I had to do that. I was an English Literature major in college.) As I noted, I have no formal training or education in the health or fitness field. But what I do have is two decades of battling the bulge…
I went on my first diet at age 7. Since then, I have tried hundreds of diets, workout routines, read just about every article ever written on weight loss, and spent thousands of dollars on weight loss and fitness products, with varying degrees of success.
Most importantly, I am a REAL PERSON. I’m not an infomercial model. I live in the real world and I certainly don’t have a perfect body.
